PEX used as a Tub Sprout
Post Body

Hello all, I hope all is well.

I recently moved into my house, which was remodeled. I started to notice that the tub sprout was leaking water, and after investigating, found that it was soaking all behind the wall. I turned off the water and now am looking for solutions.

Iโ€™ve attached 2 photos to this post. One inside the shower, and the other showing the piping. It appears that they used PEX for the tub sprout and left maybe an half of inch of pipe coming out of the shower.

I am in a dilemma of trying to fix this. I am very unsure what to do. If you donโ€™t mind giving me ideas, I am all open for it.

Have a great day!
