Sewer smell in main bathroom
Post Body

Ranch home on a crawl, septic system and 1.5 bath. A few weeks ago we had a sewer smell in our main bathroom and found we had a clogged vent. Cleared the clog from the roof and installed vent caps (floating mushroom style) to prevent debris getting back inside. Lasted about a week with no smell and now the sewer smell has returned. I can’t tell if it’s the sink, toilet or shower. What’s my next move? Where should i be looking next?

Thanks in advance I’m trying to remedy this myself without having to call a plumber!
