Angle stop leaking with no supply line?
Post Body

How concerned should I be with an angle stop that was slowly dripping when it was shut off and with the supply line removed.

I replaced the bathroom faucet and supply lines but the cold water side was leaking from the shutoff angle stop. It was a slow drip but was accumulating.

I went ahead and connected a new supply line but not the angle stop. It now does not leak at all. And yes, the PEX and previous install is all weird. I think they used compression fittings on the PEX.

As you probably guessed, Iā€™m a DIY homeowner.

Also, the reason why the faucet was replaced was it was dripping (and old/crusty). Is there a connection with a dripping angle stop and a dripping faucet?
