Need to replace leaky valve. Is this 4-way junction brass? Is this valve brass? Likely thread type? (pipe is galvanized)
Post Body
I'm familiar and comfortable working with NPT threads and tightening brass fittings, PEX, PVC, and SharkBite, but I've not worked with galvanized pipe or MIP/FIP threads. I want to replace the valve and the vacuum breaker, and leave the 4-Way Junction. Just looking for confirmation that both of these parts are 'normal' brass fittings before I take them apart...
If you are having Deja Vu, I posted yesterday to ID the vacuum breaker, but it turns out it's the valve that is leaking.
Thanks for any advice! :)
