Defective New Water Softener Causing Plumbing Blockage
Post Body

I need some help! Three weeks ago I bought the Aquasource Harmony 48000 grain water softener system from Lowe's. It shipped in two parts with the resin tank being shipped across the country and experiencing delays. Three weeks later today we had a Plummer finally installed the system. Soon after when it was turned on, primed and set to go, we lost all water pressure in the house.

Long story short, the plumber found out that the resin tank was defective and the basket had allowed the resin to shoot out through the plumbing system causing massive blockages to our showers, toilets, sinks, and it will cost $150/hr to clean our plumbing lines. All on top of the costs associated with installing it.

I'm at a loss here and don't know what to do/think. I will contact Lowe's as well as the aqua source company in the AM but was hoping if anyone one has ever experienced this, what is my best option/way to proceed? TIA
