Buying a new kitchen faucet
Post Body
I'm about to replace my old(contractor grade) kitchen faucet and have some thoughts I'd love to get input on...
- I was thinking of going to Lowe's and picking up something Kohler or Delta from there. However, I've heard rumors that you can get better quality of product at plumbing supply houses(even from those same brands). Should I go to there instead (if they'll even sell to me since replacement of a faucet in MA technically requires a permit)? There's also a Kohler store near me if that would be a better bet... ?
- Since it's a kitchen faucet my wife floated the idea of getting one with a motion sensor on it for if you've got dirty hands.
- I'm replacing a faucet that has a separate sprayer with one that has a pullout sprayer (or one styled like commercial faucets with it just overhanging). Is there anything I should know about that? I'm hoping to fill the gap left by the sprayer with an air switch for my disposal...
