Cement Main Sewer Line Repair

Hi, I recently purchased a house built in 1949 that has a cement main sewer line. I had it scoped by a local company prior to purchase and they told me the entire line needed to be replaced with a quote for almost $20k. I don't have much knowledge in this field so any advice is greatly appreciated.
