Hairdryer question
Post Body
Hello! I am currently on a 20amp 120v breaker, but I use my gaming pc an other electronics as well. My question is: does a hairdryer pull all 1875 watts from the wall on the highest setting? I’ve noticed that when I use my pc (runs about 900 watts and was under full load) and a 200 watt heater as well as other things.it does not trip the breaker.
Also. Could someone educate me on how an average hairdryer could run in someone’s home who uses a 15amp breaker without tripping it? Or how breakers are tripped in general?
