Bought our home a couple months ago and in the new additional master bedroom, whoever they hired to do electrical didn't know what they were doing. Our inspector found that all of the outlets in that room were wired with reversed polarity. I'm knowledgeable enough that I was able to correct that myself.
We have since noticed that the ceiling light, which is an LED light, will sometimes flicker on and off very dimly after being switched off. It's dim enough it can be easily missed, and it doesn't happen every time. It can happen for several minutes after powering off.
Then last night I woke up at 3am with our dog barking and noticed that the ceiling light was dim but on, no flickering. The light hadn't been turned on in about 5 hours.
I know which breaker it's on but I don't know anything about wiring for ceiling lights so I didn't want to mess with it. Is it a major electrical concern with the light itself or the switch, or something that could be messed up with the led lights themselves?
