Light is only working when the pull chain is being pulled?
Post Body

Hey hey! So I’m a first time home owner. I’ve been changing out a few of the dimmers into regular switches (not a fan of having fans on dimmers. Haha)

So on of the previous dimmers wasn’t so much a dimmer as a “turn to switch on”, which was fine, until the light stopped working properly. It would only turn on when the pull chain was actively being pulled, but when releasing the chain, the light would go out. I thought it was a problem with the dimmer, but when I changed it out for a regular switch, it’s doing the same thing. Any thoughts on what might be causing this?
