So I installed a PIR sensor to 4 LED down lights and I checked all the connections and it doesn't seem to work.
So the connections are 1. Live from switch going to the PIR sensor in 2. Neutral from switch to the PIR sensor and a connector 3. PIR Load going to the first LED light
The earth is connected from the switch to the first light and so is the natural. In theory this should work, but I don't know why it's not flowing power through the sensor.
I can trace power from the outlet to the PIR sensor but tried to trigger the sensor and it's not switching the power to the lights when triggered, I feel like the sensor may be faulty. Hoping to return it tomorrow, but thought I'd check on here to see if anyone else has another idea.
Thanks so much
