Flexible Metal Conduit for motors
Post Body

Iโ€™m not seeing anywhere where it says we have to use flex to hook up a motor, but it has always been a common practice.

Iโ€™m trying to hook up a slide gate motor in a sewer structure. Everything is rob roy explosion proof yada yada. If I use flex, itโ€™s going to have to be pvc coated explosion proof flex. It will be easier and more cost effective to just use fittings and a rob roy union.

Does anyone see an issue with this?
