A question about food scarcity
Post Body
I've been looking i to the plight of the people of Leningrad during the siege from 1941 to 1944. During the siege food was incredibly hard to come by, at some times impossible to get. Many individual families resorted to eating their own dead. But i was wondering how russian jewish families would have handled the scarcity and kept themselves fed. Would anyone be able to provide some insight?
