I'm on HRT with pills but I'm trying to switch to injectables. For the past like 3 months I've been trying to get on them, my dr's office keeps telling me there needs to be a pre authorization but nothing is getting done. I called them again today and they said they will call the insurance company but that perhaps I should call them to. Am I supposed to call the insurance to get covered for that? Or does florida blue just simply not cover injectables? if they don't, does anyone know if Cigna or Ambetter covers it?
