This is directed to my sisters who started their journey 40 . My first endocrinologist appointment is this Tuesday 10/31. I've already confirmed that she actually does do transgender hormone replacement therapy so I'm good with that. My question is were any of you told you had to see a therapist before beginning HRT😟? Were any of you allowed by your doctor to start seeing a therapist after hrt was started if it was required? I am really nervous😵‍💫 that she's going to say I have to wait on hrt before starting HRT. My thing is, I'm 45, we'll into adulthood🫤. Therapy if required by her should be able to wait until after I start hrt. My apologies if this issue has been raised and answered before on here😔.
