TTC Subway Performers – Guitarist Looking for Advice + Best Spots for Exposure

Post Body

Hey everyone, I’m an instrumental guitarist and I’ve been seeing a lot of talented performers at subway stations like Bloor-Yonge and Union. I’d love to join in and perform, but I’m not sure about the procedure.

When I visit, there’s often someone already performing, so I’m wondering—Is there a queue or sign-up system? How does it work? Do I need to book a slot, or can I just show up and play? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Also, if subway stations aren’t the best option, what are some other great spots around Toronto where I could perform for about an hour and get some exposure? I’m looking for places where I can connect with people and share my music. Thanks so much for your help!
