Edit: title was supposed to say “VIA Rail”
So I am planning on a trip to Quebec City from Toronto (midtown) and wondering if the best way to go about it is renting a car or taking VIA Rail.
Right on its face, renting a car is almost half as cheap as taking VIA. It does not, however, account for fuel, parking in QC, and car insurance. I understand I won’t be driving the car in QC as I really wanna explore the city on foot.
Which option makes more financial sense to y’all. I’ve also not driven in Quebec before so there’s a slight challenge of that as well.
TIA!
