Gym rats of TO - What shoes do you use for workouts?

Need recommendations on one shoe that I can use for all forms of workouts (running, resistance training)
I’ve used Skechers gowalk and Asics for a while and while Skechers provide the ultimate comfort to heel and plantar, I need a better pair that can be versatile with running and lifting weights.
Tried Nike’s Airmax 720 while squats and deadlifts and I felt its sole isn’t as comfortable as Skechers.
Any suggestions on deals that are available online to buy them at a lower cost than the retail?
