My coworker, who so tragically lost her beloved son this past weekend has extended an invitation to join his family on a candlelight walk to honour him. I hope this ok to post here. Even if you can’t join Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and motivations moving forward. This city is a community, and we have to take better care of each other; as well as hold responsible those who have committed politically to take care of us. <3
I am heartbroken, shattered, I don’t even feel alive. Thank you all for everything ❤️ I have no words.
I wanted to share a note about a candlelight walk for my baby:
Keele Street Public School, class of 2020 is organizing a candlelight walk to honour the life of Gabriel Magalhaes, a lovely friend, student, and neighbour who touched so many lives. Please join us Thursday evening.
In love, peace, and the spirit of community, we will walk together from the Bloor Street gates of High Park to the Keele subway station.
Date: Thursday, March 30, 2023
Time: 8:00 p.m.
Place: High Park Bloor gates
Please bring a candle or other light source to carry as you walk. Feel free to bring a note or flowers to add to the memorial at Keele station.
And please spread the word.
