Looking for advice: my mum wants me (citizen) to sponsor her a PR but she’s only 59 this year and ICA states I can only sponsor an “aged” parent.

Post Body

Basically title, essentially my mum is nagging me to quickly apply PR for her. I’m super annoyed by it because I’m pretty sure that she’s not old enough yet by ICA standards.

She told me that her friend got it at 58 after her son applied for her, so now I’m not sure. She didn’t say when her friend got it tho.

Background: She’s not working here but she still runs businesses in our country of origin, where she lives now. She’s divorced and has re-married, and I’m the only Sg citizen in our immediate family.

At this point I’m just really annoyed at her nagging. What’s more, she’s like “I’m just gonna go to ICA next time I go there to get the application form” even when I keep telling her that everything is online now and that she’s just gonna get kicked out. I keep telling her about the appointment system and she has to wait for a slot, but she’s like “I need it NOW”

I’m just so done with her la.

Sorry for the rant. Thanks for listening to me vent. And thanks in advance for the advice.
