Adjusted for inflation, is 11k worth to move from Canada to Singapore?

Post Body

I am currently working as a software developer here in Vancouver and currently earning close to 5k CAD net per month.

Recently, I have been talking to a recruiter friend of mine to get an idea about the market and she told me that she currently has an opening for a position that pays 11k per month.

I told her that I would think about it since I am not really ready to leave Canada just yet but I have to admit that 11k seems to be lucrative. I'm single and have no kids of my own and I feel like I can explore this opportunity.

But I want to get some ideas here. Not sure tho if 11k is enough for the current CoL.
