Post Body

Few weeks ago I posted and got shit on (as I deserved). Since then I got the retainer fees in order and filed today. Planning on telling her tonight after kids are in bed. Not sure how it will go down.

Tomorrow is (or was) our 8th anniversary. Dick move? Don't care. Want to get on with it.

We've talked about parenting plan and division of property. Not really seeing eye to eye on it. I'm going standing firm at shared 50/50. In the past two weeks she's swung from every other weekend and 2 dinner dates a week to she gets them S/M/T I'll have them W/Th and we alternate F/Sat. Basically she wants 2 more overnights a month than me (wants the kids to wake up at same place every Monday for school). Which I get, but in my state that means I'm paying 800 or so for child support. I don't feel that her having the kids for 22 more hours a month should be enough for me to pay that amount of child support. But if she feels that strongly about the kids waking up in the same place on Mondays, I'm going to counter propose that the can stay at my place every Sunday night. But she, like many others, wants that check. She is horrible with money and doesn't understand that she will probably be better off with splitting everything 50/50.

So my question is, do any of you have this type of arrangement or something close to it? My lawyer said that my state is firm on CS being factored on overnight stays.
