Day 3 after getting sandpapered with the Zio Patch. It’s scabbing

So the day after I got it , it was definitely sore & red. Day 2-3 , it’s started scabbing over. I didn’t realize that the process was this abrasive & that it can cause your skin to bleed. I have to wear it for 11 more days. Lol. Should I put anything around it? I’m scared to use oil based cream or alcohol because I don’t want the patch to come off. It’s uncomfortable & slightly painful to brush against it because I’m assuming the skin is trying to heal
