Post Body

Came in to the ER with chest and neck/ jaw discomfort. EKGs looked good. Troponin levels came back at 0.07 0.06 and 0.11. Doctor said heart looks strong in echo. Stress test came back positive with “severe stenosis of….(I forgot the next part) anyways I’m going for a angio tomorrow. I’m pretty nervous. Doc said he believes a stent is needed but not sure until he sees in there. From what I’m reading today, those levels don’t sound that crazy. I’m hoping stress test was wrong but who knows. I know I need to lose weight but my cholesterol has always been great with meds. BP often fluctuates with stress and anxiety. Anyone in the same boat that can offer what to expect if a stent is needed? Thanks
