I had a makeup session with a makeup artist and I had a very good time with her. We talked about techniques and all that; the most intriguing thing I got from her was that she was actually pretty averse to a person being all feminine looking acting when they’re a male but since then has opened her eyes and respected people with diverse ways of expression. She even has her own friends who are non binary and such.
Later on someone else came by and started talking to her about her love life. She started saying how she wishes more guys her age were like her dad as she found so many dudes are so girly now and cis women seem alpha nowadays.
I just found it all perplexing, being all cool with femme guys like me but then complaining about how societies changed for the worse later. As I’m typing I kinda thought there’s probably also a difference with what someone wants for their own private love life and whatnot.
What do you think?
