I had two thoughts while dressed up with inserts.

1. Bigger isn't always better (unless that's your thing). Having oversized breasts or buttocks can look really odd and unflattering.

2. Regardless of what surgeries I get, I still am who I am. Surgery might bring me closer to what I find attractive, but it won't transform me into a different person. If you think surgery will make you happy, before you get worked on, try just buying some cheap inserts, making your own (easy) or imagine having the anatomy you want. You'll probably realize you'll be the same person with a different body. If your life sucks now, it will still suck (granted, I don't take HRT)

3. Eventually, my gender transition will end and I'll have to find other things to do with my life.
