I'm just starting to read some Julia Sarrano.
Apparently one of her criticisms against the the 2-type typology is that "all transwomen are individuals".
I don't see this is as a valid criticism. The fact that we're all individuals doesn't totally erase the fact we all have similar traits, hence the value of having a psychological construct applied to us.
This is like saying the personality disorder construct of NPD is invalid because there different permutations of the disorder. The core concepts of NPD still apply to the individuals, regardless of their differences.
This seems like a pointless observation. Just from hanging out here, one comes to realize that we have wide variations in thoughts, feelings and behavior, but not wide enough to somehow invalidate the concept. Maybe some of us even have HSTS "traits". So what?
Are there any solid arguments against AGP as a concept?
