Is inheritance money adjusted for inflation

Say a child’s parent dies when they are 5, and the parents set it up so they get the money when they are 18. So that wealth at the time they are 5 is 5 million would it be 5 million when they are 18 or would it be the equivalent of 5 million 13 years later?
