Alright so some background: I am 20 years old, and I have plans to move by summer. To do that I need to find a better job, but all the good jobs are a drive distance away. The reason i don't have my license right now is because I didn't have anyone who could give me lessons regularly. I started taking 2 hour long lessons at the drivers ed place, but my permit expired for the second time.
This is potentially a huge issue, because I read online that I can't get a third permit. The only option I can think of is to simply take the drivers test over and over until I pass (they offer temporary permits that last the duration of the test). But I would really feel more comfortable paying for more drivers lessons so I can pass the first or second try like a normal person, and feel comfortable on the road. To be clear, I DRIVE fine, I have no problems actually being on the road. But parking, parallel parking, and backing up next to curbs are something that in very hit-or-miss at, and most of the time its a miss. Is there any way to get my permit renewed again?
