I just found out recently that my sister has sleep apnea. It started as loud snoring but last week, she couldn't sleep for 5 to 10 sec without running out of breath, any tips on dealing with this?

She haven't gone to school for an entire week. She's been trying to get more sleep but it's not working. Somebody please help me how to deal with this. My mom and dad took her to the doctor but they couldn't do anything about it. It keeps me up at night knowing she's not sleeping well
