how does the EX89 sizing compare to the gel lyte III?

I currently have a 9.5 US gel lyte 3 and it has been pretty nice! I noticed it is a little 'narrow' but not like tight or anything. snug in a nice way if that makes sense. Could just be me but it does feel like it runs a little 'long' though, but I can comfortably fit my thumb between my Big toe and the end, so not like unreasonably long.
I am wondering how does the EX89 compare? should I go for same size as the GL3 or size down a 0.5?
