Why do you think Asian people (in general) have a hard time being vulnerable/asking for help?
Post Body

I'm a 2nd generation Chinese person living in Australia.

One thing I've now noticed as an adult, is how reserved Chinese people are in terms of admitting vulnerability and asking for help. It's something I'm now addressing myself through therapy, but I was wondering if anyone has any insight into why this is.

Even closeness is awkward with my mum. She doesn't really hug, for example.
