Hi everyone! We're trying to improve the FAQ week by week and hoping to get your help. Let's talk about "Where to hike?"! Since many of the links are outdated, I'm going to post a new question every few days and we'll update the FAQ with favorite hikes close the city, favorite long hikes/backpacking, favorite large group camping, best campgrounds/car camping, and favorite swimming holes.

Also, I wonder if anyone would like to volunteer to check all of the links in the "What's fun?" section. It doesn't take too much time, but I've already done the eating/drinking/lodging sections and it would be really helpful if someone else could do this page. You just check that the links are still active, and if they're not, track down the right URL and edit the link to the new URL. Easy peasy.

Without further ado, what are your favorite hiking spots near Asheville (let's say less than 45 minutes away) that are easy to moderate difficulty, with or without a decent view/overlook? Thanks everyone!
