I had an appointment with B.E.A.R. closet in West Asheville today, but when I arrived they were closed with a big sign saying "no donations until further notice " Oof! Been driving around with this stuff in my car for a week.
I have a toddler bed frame, a car seat, and a stroller (as well as some clothes). On the the phone they said they could take all of these things. Now I don't know what to do with them.
They are all in good condition (although I need to check to see if the car seat is "expired"). The bed was barely used. Probably spent nearly $1000 on these things just a few years ago. It seems like a terrible shame for the. To go to a landfill. Or do I have to drive them out of state to find someone that'll take them?
