Where to get water jugs in Asheville?

My daughter and I are heading back to Asheville today and will need to buy water jugs when we get there (there is literally no room in our car to pick up supplies on our way home, so it has to be in town). I also need the containers to be on the smaller side as I can’t move 5 gallons of water on my own.

So my questions are:

1) Do I need special containers/containers with large openings to get water or can I just refill gallon/2 gallon jugs from the store?

2) If I need containers with larger openings, is there somewhere in Asheville I can get ones smaller than 5 gallons?
