This is the new volunteering and offering help thread. I will try to post opportunities to volunteer, please also post any opportunities you want the community to know about. If you are offering to help, please indicate what types of services/skills you offer, where you're located or want to help, and when you're available.

Hands On Asheville - you can browse and search different opportunities to volunteer, mostly Asheville and Buncombe County. You can also present to the The Volunteer Reception Center at 50 S French Broad Ave, Asheville, NC 28801. It will be open daily from 8am-1pm. Anyone looking for a volunteer opportunity is welcome to simply go to the VRC to be assigned to a need. A variety of skills are wanted, so there should be something for everyone.

Samaritan's Purse in Mitchell and Yancey County - help with tree work, roof tarping, debris cleanup, and mud outs.

Samaritan's Purse Buncombe County - Same as above

ABCCM - this is the volunteer inquiry to fill out. They are still accepting personal/individual donations as well as "palletized" donations. Their Facebook page has an updated list of needs and recently posted a need for volunteers to help with food deliveries.
