Hello,
I just got an appt reminder text from our vet about a previously scheduled kitten appt at animal hospital south but I had already tried to call them the other day about records for my cats (we had to go to a new place to live in Weaverville since our old place flooded and they want copies of vaccine records - which also got destroyed in the flood) and both then and today when I try to call it's just a busy signal, so I assume maybe phones are still down there. Animal Hospital South is right near Fresh Market on Hendersonville Rd which I think I remember reading was open back close to when the flooding first happened and Animal Hospital East is up on a pretty steep hill so I assume both survived the flood (they are sister clinics), but I don't know if either is open/seeing patients at all and their email address appears to have been removed from their website? I know the text is probably just an automated reminder that hasn't been removed but if they are seeing patients I'm happy to keep my kitten's appointment, has anyone happened to drive by specifically in this case Animal Hospital South and see if they are open? It's just a bit of a haul down from where we are now in Weaverville with a cat to check and my car got totalled from the flood so we're also down to one car. I'm not worried if the kitten ends up needing to get rescheduled out later if not, she's fine, but don't want them losing business from me if they are open.
