Toilets of AVL is a crowdsourced google map of public toilets & portapotties, laundry facilities, showers and handwashing stations in areas without running water in the aftermath of Helene.

Before adding a location, please verify IN-PERSON that the facility is operational & public. In the "share something about this place" field, be sure to include the date, operating hours (if applicable), and what resources are available at each location.

The city says they'll be putting out portapotties in some neighborhoods, plus the "Community Reception Centers" with portable bathrooms, showers, laundry, are starting to go in, and there's more businesses with portapotties outside now as well!)
