Any good digital art teachers around/offering lessons?

So I'm trying to make a visual novel, so I wanna learn how to draw characters digitally for sprites. I have a tablet, adobe, the whole nine yards.
Are there any digital art teachers in AVL offering/open to offering lessons? I tried messaging the art department at UNC Asheville but they seem more preoccupied with enrolled students, and ABtech's continuing education was geared more towards traditional arts.
