Where is a safe place to set off fireworks?

We used to set off small fireworks in the driveway, but neighbors built next door and it’s a little too close for comfort. Anyone know if there’s a public space where it’s acceptable? We are pretty close to carrier park… is the parking lot there ok? Or anywhere else in town? Or should we just wait for the Biltmore show to start?
