Does anyone here know more about this whole situation? Like what does “voting to encourage the city to expedite the process” actually accomplish?

And who are Stormfield Capital and why don’t they set up the supportive housing themselves?

If they can’t/won’t/whatever, can’t the city buy the property and do it themselves? If not, why?

Also please be polite and explain it to me like I’m five, bc I just don’t understand. It’s just been deeply frustrating to watch endless bureaucracy get in the way of actually helping people.
