Did I miss the peak?

Finally had Sunshine Sammies today and I was so let down. Icy flavor-lacking ice cream and the cookie was also meh. Did I get the wrong flavor (strawberry ice cream with sugar cookies) Or maybe this is one of those things that use to be amazing, but has gone downhill?
I hesitated to post this, but then remembered that the guy inside was also not very friendly, so here I am to whinge into the internet abyss
