[WARNING: INTERNALIZED APHOBIA]
I don’t want to anger anyone so if you feel like this could have a negative impact on your identity scroll past this post. Go look at r/eyebleach instead🤍
Like, I’m 99% asexual but it still feels like I would be intruding on the “real” lgbtqia (I know this is a stupid thought. That thought just gives me soo much anxiety.)
Even though I have identified as asexual since I was 13, I still have internalized aphobia about really belonging to lgbtqia. Aces don’t really have to hide who they are, people simply invalidate asexuals (which hurts a lot).
It’s not like aces are getting killed on the streets and kicked out of their homes for being Ace.
I know my anxiety surrounding this thought is stupid. Please help assuage my anxiety over not fitting in and cure my internalized aphobia
