I (F48) confessed to a friend that I had not have sex with my husband for the last 10 years, and now she is so worried about my marriage. After not having sex for 10 years I feel like I turned asexual. I was certainly sexual until having my second kid, and then boom, all my interest to have sex was gone. Is that common? I think I have a nice marriage that is in no danger of ending because of this issue. I just feel most of the society feels that sex is important even after having children. I guess I'm looking for someone to remind me that having no sex is fine and that sees a sexless marriage as a positive instead of as a negative. I suspect my husband may be visiting some prostitute every now and then, and although I have never given him permission explicitly I don't mind it, he is a good caring husband and good father. It may have been that we got focused on our kids instead of our sexuality, but whatever it was it feels right.
