My (22M) girlfriend (20F) told me she once identified herself as asexual, and that I am the only person she has ever felt feelings for
Post Body

Hi all,

This is a really new concept for me, and I am just trying to understand it a little better without grilling her with questions.

Basically, my girlfriend told me she never thought she could even feel anything for anyone, never wanted to kiss anyone or do anything sexual with anyone. She would try it but always left uninterested.

However, she actually kissed me on the first date we had because she WANTED to. And she wants to kiss me still, do things with me sexually, and not only that I can tell that she, her body and her mind LOVE it. I wouldn’t even say her sex drive is like low.

I’m just so curious how I could’ve caused such a switch up in her. Is this typical? Has anyone else ever experienced this before? I’ve also gotten a little torn up in my head thinking it unlocked some new side of her and she’s gonna start looking at guys differently but that’s just my anxiety disorder and ADHD talking I’m sure. My anxiety has also led me to believe this may make it easier for her to fall out of love for me once we get past the honeymoon phase.

Not trying to be judgemental or selfish here at all btw, just literally want to understand this more so I can both be there for her and also ease my wandering mind!

Thanks!
