There's so much I could say, but I'm really just looking for a close loyal friend that wants to be in my life as much as I'dwant to be in theirs. Even though I'm open an honest about what I'm looking for, I still get misunderstood sometimes. Maybe because I just don't fit. Anyway, about me and why I'm here.

So, I'm 48 (often told I look 10 years younger though), black, married with 2 toddlers (don't freak out, I'll elaborate), in Florida, and not Ace, but let's just say sex isn't a big deal anymore in comparison to what I desire now. I understand that being married and having kids is probably going to instantly turn a lot of people off. I get it. No worries. But if you're okay with this, I'll explain why I'm here. Quite literally, I don't have any close friends. My wife has her group of close friends and support system, but I don't. She's perfectly fine with me developing an emotional bond with someone else. She understands that there are just areas we don't really relate in and since I don't have any close friends to turn to like she does, she gets it. It's nothing sexual. Just a close, but platonic friendship with affection (hugs) and an emotional connection. Like a BFF/QPR, I suppose. I guess this is the part that makes it seem weird. A very close, but platonic friendship. Someone that has similar interests/preferences and just wants a goto best friend to do things with. Ultimately, it would be nice to be able to introduce this person to my wife and kids, but I have to find someone that would even be interested, given the potential deal breakers.

As far as who I am and what I like, I'm a creative and an entrepreneur. I'm a musician, photographer, and into filmmaking. I'll share the other stuff later. I can be a nerd about music/film gear/software. I'm not really a gamer, but I like playing retro games. Think NES, SNES, etc. I like sci-fi shows/movies as well as action/adventure, thriller, horror, and superhero. I also enjoy documentaries. Mainly space. I'm pretty laid back and reserved unless I really feel comfortable, then I'm corny and sarcastic. I should also mention that I'm an INFJ-A, an empath, and self diagnosed ASD level 1. I can also be a bit of a perfectionist. Maybe all of this is TMI, but I just believe in being open and honest.

As far as what I'm not into, smoking, 420, or drinking. Just trying to live relatively healthy. I recently cut refined sugar from my diet as well. It made a big difference. Also, I don't have any tats or piercings. Nothing's wrong if you do. It's just not for me.

Lastly, I'm agnostic atheist. I came out of a very religious background. Kudos if you can relate to me in this area.
