I am a casual PC gamer and getting to know someone while playing games is the easiest way for me. For the past year or so, I have been isolating myself due to my depression and anxiety. While I do desire attention/socialization, I need the conversation to come easy and not devolve into us just taking turns asking each other questions. On the other side of the coin, do not try to start a conversation with "Tell me more about yourself." Those are both very ineffective and lazy ways to get to know someone and will most likely get you ghosted. I'm not trying to be interviewed. I want to have a real conversation.

I'm EXTREMELY slow to warm up, but when I do, I am loud, love to laugh, curse and playfully abuse you, and expect you to respond in kind. Like, if we can't call each other bitch or fuckface, this isn't going anywhere.

Don't ask me for pictures. If you need pictures to be friends with someone, bye.

I am US Eastern Time Zone. My go-to games right now are Dead by Daylight and Hearthstone. You absolutely need to play one of these to talk to me, no exceptions. Hearthstone has to be on North American servers. If you try to switch servers you have to start your entire collection over. DbD can be played on any geographical server but my ping is already bad on NA servers, so I'm not switching.

Hopefully, as time goes on we will play other games. Unfortunately, I'm terrible at FPS's, and shooters in general. I do have a Steam library full of co-op games I never get to play, like Overcooked 2, Castle Crashers, and Monaco. Don't forget that Remote Play is still a thing. I only have PC. Hearthstone and DbD have crossplay, but we won't be playing much else if you don't have PC or Steamdeck.

I'm a huge Batman and Star Trek nerd, although I'm not as up to date on all the new stuff as I would like to be. Let me know who your favorite Batman and Starfleet captain is! That would be a great ice breaker and also would show that you actually read my post!

I'm not super concerned with your demographics, but I am definitely more comfortable with people around my age or older. My general cut off is 30, but 25 is probably the youngest age I would be willing to entertain. However, I'm not going to be held to that and anyone under 30 has a strong chance of getting ghosted for that alone.
