I'm going to let you all in, and by all I mean the people reporting threads lately, on a little secret. We, the mods of /r/Asatru, see every thread that gets posted. Every single one.
Why do I mention this, you find yourself asking?
Because any thread you report is a thread we have seen, and chosen not to remove because we do not see a reason to remove it.
That's not to say it might not need to be removed... It just means we haven't seen a reason to. So, as a result, when you report a thread and leave it at that we have no motivation to do a damned thing besides ignore the report.
What's the solution to this impasse? Well, it's simple. If you report a thread, you should accompany that report with a message to your friendly moderators explaining why you reported it. That way, if we missed something, you can point it out to us. Or, conversely, if we didn't miss anything, we can explain to you why we're leaving it up and you can stop reporting it.
Either way the problem gets resolved. However, we will continue to ignore reports that don't have an explanation.
