Here's an interesting topic I've wanted to raise, because I've heard the entire range of opinion on the matter. So this OP is less to express my opinion (though I'm sure that'll happen during a discussion), but more to see what other people think.

Our stories suggest the concept of tightly bound fate. Not just for the gods, but for everything. That says to me, and to many, that our death is not a thing of chance, but rather that the day and moment is already written and nothing we do can affect or change that.

So what say you all on the subject? Do you believe the same way? If you do, how does that affect the way you live your daily life?
