So not the distant distant future but next decade or so?

I know I am being a bit optimistic but the one part of AI I am really looking forward to and believe will happen in the next 10 years or there abouts is autonomous driving ai pilots.

I really think this will be a massive game changer in regards to transportation especially at the average citizen level.

We could have way less cars in production and use those resources elsewhere.

We could cut down massively on the rates of accidents and get rid of intoxication deaths completely.

Could order up AI vehicles from apps and ride share (safety features like criminal record checks and or something would have to be involved to make sure people were not at risk) but massive amounts of saved money could come into play.

Cut massively down on the amount of oil being consumed and other aspects.

Just seems like win wins for everyone.

What in regards to AI are you really looking forward to in breakthroughs that realistically have a chance or will happen in the next decade or so?
